DAY 1: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

Today your safari adventure begins! We will pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. Your guide will take you to Arusha National Park, a park with beautiful scenery and a large population of animals. The park is divided into three parts: Mount Meru, Ngurdoto Crater and Momella Lakes. After a game drive, you will do a guided walking safari. On foot, you can enjoy giraffes, buffalos and other animals from a good distance. At the end of the day, we will take you to Africa Safari Arusha where you can relax at the pool.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Arusha is the safari capital of the country and a bustling ‘tourism-driven’ city. You will be met by your driver-guide in Arusha and together you will begin the transfer to Tarangire National Park to start your private safari game drive. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River, which crosses the park and is the main source of water for the wildlife. This quiet park is famous for its elephant migration, birdlife and authentic safari atmosphere. You will enjoy a packed lunch during midday and at the end of the afternoon’s game drive, you will make your way to Africa Safari Lake Manyara. On arrival, you will have time to refresh before finishing the day with dinner under the stars and a good night’s sleep in one of canvas accommodations.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER

Today we will wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life is estimated at 30,000 large mammals. Due to its
natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African black rhino as well as hyena, zebra and elephants to name a few. Your overnight stay will be at Eileen’s Trees Lodge, a beautiful lodge situated in lush gardens.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER TO SERENGETI  NATIONAL PARK

Today our journey continues as we head from the edge of the Serengeti in its very heart. But now Serengeti beckons and so we continue to head east Seronera to Ikoma into what is surely the world’s greatest park.

At times this unsurpassable place is home to over 1.6 million herbivores and the thousands of predators who stalk them. Their fascinating habits and habitats are sure to provoke questions, so do ask your driver guide to explain the amazing creatures you see all around you. At night back at your accommodation the sights, sounds, and smells of Africa will continue to enchant you on this wilderness adventure. Later after African sunset its time to drive back to the camp for leisure dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: SERENGETI  NATIONAL PARK

Waking up in the Serengeti is something really special. Sights, sounds, and smells of Africa are all around us, and ahead is a full day of adventure in the world’s most famous national park. Pick your packed breakfast and lunch with your morning section of game drive in Serengeti National Park, marveling at the stunning scenery ever-changing light, and always entertaining wildlife all explained to you by your expert driver-guide.

After our picnic lunch, we set off again searching for wildlife in this awe-inspiring park. Serengeti’s wonders evolve subtly as the day progresses. The myriad animals and birds are the ‘stars of the show’ and Nature’s dramas can unfold at any time. Of course, the animals don’t work to any schedule so we may find a lion or a leopard, elephant, zebra, cheetah, and antelope at any time on our drives. Later after African sunset its time to drive back to the camp for much needed leisure dinner and overnight stay.

 DAY 6: SERENGETI  NATIONAL PARK

Today we will continue our game drives in Serengeti and we will be heading north. In the migration season, we can pass by the Mara River. Be amazed by the thousands of animals crossing the river. It’s a once in a lifetime experience! At the
end of the day, we will overnight at Africa Safari Maasai Boma Lodge. As the accommodation’s name suggests, it is inspired by a traditional Maasai boma. Look around you and you’ll understand why; you’re in their midst. The village is called Ololosokwan and although not located in an official game reserve or national park, even here you can find game.

DAY 7: SERENGETI  NATIONAL PARK LAKE NATRON

After breakfast, we will head to Lake Natron. The drives from the northern Serengeti are remote, with a desolate, otherworldly beauty and an incomparable feeling of space and antiquity. The roads pass through untraveled Maasai land, with small bomas and big mountains often in view in a wild, cauterised landscape. From June to November at the lake, around two million flamingos gather.

On the way to the lodge, we can make a stop at the hot springs. We will overnight at Africa Safari Lake Natron. The lodge
has a swimming pool that is embedded in its surrounding landscapes and comes complete with stunning views of neighbouring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still-active volcano. Enjoy the view! From the lodge, you can take a 10-minute
walk to the lake with your guide.

DAY 8: LAKE NATRON TO LAKE MANYARA

In the morning, your guide will take you for an adventurous walk to the waterfalls (make sure to bring walking shoes). Several Maasai villages are found nearby and your guide for the hike will be a Maasai. After lunch, you’ll head to Mto wa Mbu where you will overnight at

DAY 9: LAKE MANYARA

Today we will go to Lake Manyara. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs. We will do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day and in the afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha where we arrive before dinner.
