8 Days Budget Classic Safaris in Northern Tanzania

An 8 day classic tour, which offers all the main highlights of Northern Tanzania. Accommodations selected for this tour focuses on the luxury camp and lodges, which offer international standards of comfort in some of the best locations for year around wildlife viewing.

Taking in Tanzania’s most famous game areas of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara, you will experience a variety of landscapes and terrain as well as the huge diversity of animals and birds. In addition to seeing some of the greatest concentration of wildlife on earth, you will also visit the site of some of man’s earliest ancestors at Olduvai Gorge.

DAY 1: -Arrival in Arusha with a bus

you are welcomed by our representative who will usher you into a waiting vehicle and transfer you to the hotel in Arusha. Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the Miami Rich Hotel/Miami Beach hotel in Arusha and leave you to relax and have dinner.

Day 2:

After breakfast briefing to the clients which will be conducted by one of our Office Staff, then drive to Arusha National Park for morning game drive with picnic lunches, and afternoon walking safaris. Dinner and overnight at Miami Beach Hotel.

Arusha National Park:

The Park lies just 25km east of Arusha, approximately 45minutes drive from Arusha. Arusha National Park is 542 sq km (205 .96 sq miles). As its famous to the black- and –white colobus monkey, it’s the only place on the Northern safari circuit where can be seen. The park is the home of the famous mountain known as Mount Meru; (Fifth highest mountain in Africa, 4566 meters, {14,990 feet} Other prominent features found include Momela Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater and Montane forest as well as Waterfalls. It’s a rich tapestry of habitats, teeming with animals and birds,(More than 400 species of birds have been recorded). Zebra, Leopard, antelope, giraffe buffalo, warthog, waterbucks, dikdik, spotted hyenas, etc are part of wild animals which can been seen there. But elephant and lion are uncommon in Arusha national Park.

Day 3, – Arusha to LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

we depart at 08:30 from your hotel in Arusha proceeds to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley, before which lies the ground water forest, areas of open grassland near the lake foreshore, and the Soda Lake.

We enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, which consists of open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park is a birding paradise that has more than 350 species of bird. The park is also famed for its unique and elusive tree-climbing lions. Day 4:  -Manyara – Serengeti

After breakfast depart 07:30 Leaving the Lake Manyara  behind you will drive to Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world-wide wonder, the Serengeti National Park. The park is renowned for its annual migration; when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. Day 05:-Full day at Serengeti National Park 

There’s nothing like an early morning start allowing you to experience one of the most ultimate game viewing sessions. After a hot cup of tea or coffee you will soon be wide-awake as you watch wildlife in its most active time. The cat family love to make appearances in the morning, while the early morning light makes photographing herds of wildlife a photographer’s dream. For something completely different, we can arrange an early morning balloon safari over the Serengeti. View large pods of wildlife and watch the sun rise over the park’s endless plains, only to finish off this relaxing journey with scrumptious champagne breakfast overnight at will be at Serengeti Seronera campsite.

Day 6: -Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Say goodbye to the enchanting Serengeti National Park only to be presented with another natural wonder, the Ngorongoro Crater. This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8300 square kilometres. The actual crater is 260 square kilometres and 620m deep. The original volcano was probably as high or higher than Kilimanjaro. Your best destination consists of the fabulous Ngorongoro serena lodge or  Sopa Lodge, perched on the rim of the collapsed volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater, a world heritage site, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world.  Meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba campsite.

Day 7:- full day, Ngorongoro Crater

To experience the crater without the crowds you will rise early for your full day’s game drive. Reaching the crater floor as the sun begins to rise, you will undoubtedly be amazed at this natural phenomenon before you. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 25,000 animals and is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen. The NCA is considered one of the World Heritage Sites and also one of the International Biosphere Reserves. Additionally, the NCA is unique because it is a multi-use conservation area – where the animals and environment are protected but the Masai are allowed to live and continue their pastoral lifestyle.  Dinner and overnight at Rich Hotel in Arusha.

Day 8: Departure to air port for your flight back home.

Breakfast is at the hotel. Check out time is 10.00am. You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to your destination the transfer time depending on your flight time. Also this day you will have a time to make town tour before transfer to air port for your flight back home.

Camping Safari per person sharing: US$1,200usd per person sharing, So for 6pax total cost is $7,200usd.
