DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Machame Gate (1,640m) to Machame Camp (2,835m)
Drive from Moshi/Arusha to Machame Gate. Start your climb through lush rainforest. Overnight in tents.
Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp (3,750m)
Trek across moorland with stunning views of Kibo peak.
Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp (3,900m) via Lava Tower (4,630m)
Important acclimatization day. Climb high, sleep low.
Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (3,995m)
Conquer the famous Barranco Wall – the highlight of the route.
Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,673m) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) to Mweka Camp (3,100m)
Midnight summit push! Reach Uhuru Peak – The Roof of Africa. Congratulations! Descend to Mweka Camp.
Day 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640m) to Arusha/Moshi
Final descent, receive your summit certificates. Transfer to your lodge for hot shower and celebration.

Day 7: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Game drive in Tarangire National Park – famous for giant elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

Day 8: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Long scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. Afternoon game drive in the endless plains.

Day 9: Full Day Serengeti National Park
Full day Big Five game drive in Serengeti – Witness the Great Migration, lions, cheetahs and leopards.

Day 10: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Morning game drive then drive to Ngorongoro with game viewing en-route.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for 6-hour crater tour – best chance to see Black Rhino. Afternoon visit to Lake Manyara National Park for tree-climbing lions and flamingos. Drive to Arusha.
Overnight: The Charity Hotel in Arusha
Day 12: Arusha to Zanzibar – Beach Paradise
Fly to Zanzibar. Transfer to Nungwi/Kendwa beach.

Day 13: Zanzibar – Stone Town & Spice Tour
