The lodge has nine conference venues and can accommodate up to 500 delegates in total. Parking is complimentary. Safari Lodge offers a choice 131 different rooms with different room types available.

You will be picked up at your hotel near O. R. Tambo International Airport and drive to The Cradle of Human Kind/Maropeng for a tour of a journey back in time from the start of our universe, some 14 billion years ago. Visit the Tumulus building to browse the interactive displays, have lunch at the Tumulus restaurant, and then go to the Sterkfontein Caves to see where world-acclaimed fossils were discovered.

You will go to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, “The Volcano That Gave Birth to a Game Reserve” for a game drive where you will have opportunities to see the Big 5 in their natural habitat. Then spend the rest of the day at the Sun City and Lost City Resorts. With hundreds of things to offer, you have a huge variety to do, from family fun to adrenaline-fueled adventures.

Starting with a game drive through the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, you will leave the reserve on the way to the Hartbeespoortdam area, where there will be a stopover at the Monate Citrus Cellar for a taste of home-brewed mampoer spirits.
You will also have the opportunity to visit African arts and craft stores for shopping. A visit to the Voortrekker Monument or Union Buildings is followed on your way back to the O.R. Tambo Airport, or you join Amatungulu Tours on another tour.
