 DETAILED ITINERARY

PART 1: 4 DAYS MOUNT MERU TREK (4,566M)

Day 1: Arusha to Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut (2,514m)
Drive to Arusha National Park. Trek through forest with giraffes and buffaloes to Miriakamba Hut.

Day 2: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut (3,570m)
Steep climb to Saddle Hut. Afternoon acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820m) for sunset views of Kilimanjaro.

Day 3: Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak (4,566m) to Miriakamba Hut
Midnight summit push to Mount Meru Summit – Socialist Peak. Stunning sunrise over Kilimanjaro. Descend to Miriakamba Hut for overnight.

Day 4: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate to Arusha
Final descent. Transfer to Arusha for rest and preparation for Lengai.
Overnight: Budget Lodge in Arusha

PART 2: 3 DAYS OLDONYO LENGAI EXPEDITION (2,960M)

Day 5: Arusha to Lake Natron – Home of Flamingos
Drive to Lake Natron via Engaruka. Afternoon walk to the waterfalls and flamingo lake.
Overnight: Budget Lodge/Camp at Lake Natron – Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge

Day 6: Midnight Summit of Oldoinyo Lengai – Mountain of God
Rest during the day. At 11:00 PM start climbing Oldoinyo Lengai, the only active carbonatite volcano in the world, sacred to the Maasai. Reach the summit at sunrise with breathtaking views of the Rift Valley.

Day 7: Lake Natron to Ngare Sero to Karatu
Descend in the morning, breakfast, and drive to Karatu via Manyara for overnight before safari.
Overnight: Budget Lodge in Karatu

PART 3: 3 DAYS SERENGETI & NGORONGORO SAFARI – BUDGET CAMPING

Day 8: Karatu to Serengeti National Park – Seronera Area
Game drive to Central Serengeti. Afternoon game drive around Seronera River – the big cat capital.
Overnight: Public Campsite – Seronera Campsite (Budget Camping, tents & mattress provided)

Day 9: Full Day Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Morning game drive in Serengeti, then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Overnight: Public Campsite – Simba Campsite on the Crater Rim (Best sunset view)

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – UNESCO World Heritage Site & 8th Wonder of the World for 6-hour game drive. See Big Five including rare Black Rhino. Drive back to Arusha.
Overnight: Budget Lodge in Arusha

PART 4: 4 DAYS ZANZIBAR BEACH HOLIDAY

Day 11: Arusha to Zanzibar
Fly/drive to Zanzibar. Transfer to Nungwi/Kendwa beach.
Overnight: Affordable Beach Hotel – Amaan Beach Bungalows / Paradise Beach Hotel

Day 12: Zanzibar Highlights – Stone Town & Spice Tour
Full day tour: UNESCO Stone Town Tour (Slave Market, Freddie Mercury House, Old Fort) + Authentic Spice Tour.

Day 13: Zanzibar Adventure & Activities Day
Choose the best activities:
1. Mnemba Atoll – Dolphin Watching & Snorkeling in crystal water
2. Jozani Forest Tour – See the endemic Red Colobus Monkeys
3. Baraka Aquarium – Swim with Giant Sea Turtles

Day 14: Zanzibar Departure
Morning at leisure on the pristine white-sand beach. Transfer to Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ) for flight home. End of Expedition.
