For all Volunteers going to Tanzania:
Because of the recent changes in government regulations, you cannot involve in any volunteer work while under a tourist visa in Tanzania. The government has created a special permit for all volunteers. Therefore, all volunteers joining the Tanzania program must buy a “resident permit- class C” upon arrival in Tanzania. The volunteer permit costs $250usd for a volunteer with a program duration of 1-5weeks stays in Tanzania and $550usd for 6-12weeks stays in Tanzania and is the sole responsibility of each volunteer to pay it separately from the given program fees.
